Multi-Disciplinary Testing

Multi-Disciplinary Team Testing

When a child’s challenges are complex or span multiple areas such as learning, behavior, communication, and development, it is often helpful to take a team-based approach. Our multi-disciplinary evaluations involve professionals from different specialties such as psychology, speech-language pathology, and education who work together to provide a whole-child perspective. This is especially important when exploring conditions like autism, intellectual disability, or overlapping diagnoses.

Team testing may be recommended when:

  • There are concerns about autism, learning differences, or developmental delays

  • A child is receiving services from multiple providers and needs a coordinated plan

  • A school or physician is requesting a comprehensive evaluation for support or diagnosis

The process includes interviews, direct testing, classroom or home observations when appropriate, and parent and teacher rating forms. This allows us to examine how cognitive, language, social, emotional, and behavioral factors all interact. Families leave with a detailed, integrated report and clear recommendations for therapy, school accommodations, and long-term planning.
