Terms & Conditions of Use

Last updated: October 2026

Welcome to the website of Child and Family Therapy Collective LLC ("CFTC," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of childfamilytherapycollective.com and any related pages, forms, and resources (the "Website"). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Website.

Who the Website is for

The Website is intended for adults, including parents, guardians, caregivers, educators, and professionals. You must be at least 18 years old to submit forms, register for programs, or make purchases through the Website.

Educational information, not treatment

Our blog posts, articles, worksheets, videos, newsletter, and other resources are provided for general educational purposes. They are not therapy, diagnosis, or a substitute for an individualized evaluation by a qualified professional who knows your child. Every child and family is different, and any examples or outcomes described on the Website are not a guarantee of results for your family. Please don't delay seeking professional care because of something you read on the Website.

No clinician–client relationship through the Website

Using the Website, submitting a request or referral form, emailing or calling our office, subscribing to our newsletter, or attending a free event does not by itself create a therapist–client, psychologist–patient, or clinician–patient relationship. That relationship begins only after a consultation, enrollment, and completion of our intake paperwork and practice policies in our electronic health record.

Emergencies

The Website is not monitored for emergencies. If you or your child are in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988 (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call the Tennessee Statewide Crisis Line at 855-CRISIS-1 (855-274-7471), available 24 hours a day.

Services, licensure, and location

CFTC provides in-person services in Nashville, Tennessee, and telehealth services only where the treating clinician is licensed or otherwise authorized to practice. Service availability, clinician availability, and program offerings may change without notice. Fees, insurance, cancellation, and other clinical policies are provided during enrollment and are governed by the agreements you sign at that time, not by these Terms.

Communications with us

When you give us your email address or phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry, consultation, registration, or application. Standard email and website forms are not fully secure, so please limit what you share to what's needed for us to respond. Current patients should use our secure patient portal for clinical communication. We send text messages only after you confirm you want to receive them. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.

Registrations, events, and purchases

Groups, Brave Camp, parent programs, trainings, and other paid offerings may be registered and paid for online. Prices, dates, and availability may change. The specific terms provided at registration (including any refund, cancellation, transfer, or participation terms) apply to that offering and control over these Terms if they differ. Payments are processed by Jane Payments or TherapyFlow, subject to their terms.

Testimonials and reviews

Consistent with the ethics codes that guide our clinicians, CFTC does not solicit testimonials from current clients. Reviews that appear on third-party sites reflect the views of the people who post them. To protect confidentiality, we generally do not respond publicly to reviews in a way that would confirm whether someone is or was a client.

Intellectual property

The content on the Website (including text, graphics, illustrations, photographs, logos, worksheets, charts, program names, and the design of the Website) is owned by CFTC or used with permission, and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law. Families may view, download, and print materials for their own personal, non-commercial use. Clinicians, schools, and organizations may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or republish Website content, or use it to train software or artificial intelligence systems, without our prior written permission. Names of treatment models and programs referenced on the Website belong to their respective owners.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Website to break the law, submit false information or impersonate another person, upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or collect information about other users. We may suspend or block access to the Website for anyone who misuses it.

Third-party services and links

Some Website features are provided by third parties, including our scheduling and intake forms, patient portal, payment processing, embedded videos, and social media. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Links to outside websites are provided for convenience and do not mean we endorse or control them.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the Website accurate and current, but we can't guarantee that all content is complete, up to date, or error-free. The Website is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. If you notice an error, please let us know at admin@childfamilytherapycollective.com.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CFTC and its owners, clinicians, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under your treatment agreements with CFTC or under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CFTC from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Website or your violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to the Website or these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.

Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted means you accept them. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. Headings are for convenience only. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and CFTC regarding use of the Website.
